Over the 24th of July we went to Bear Lake with Ryan's family. It is so fun to watch the cousins play together. We had a really nice time. The kids played on the slide that Trent & Natalie brought, we rode the waverunner that Derek brought, and played on the beach. We did have a couple of scares. The wind came up and was hauling Austin, who was in our raft, out to the middle of the lake. We are so glad that Tony saw him, and was able to get Derek to ride the waverunner out to haul him back in. Also, when we arrived on Thursday we found out that Carson, our nephew, was in an abulance on his way to the hospital. He had gotten stuck head down in a tube that had a little bit of water in it. It had only been a minute that he had been in it, but was not breathing and didn't have a pulse. His uncle and friend had to do CPR and got him going again. It just hits so close to home since Blake is the same age as Carson. I can't imagine having to watch that happen to someone who is so little and helpless. We are so lucky to have Carson with us now. It definitely makes you realize how precious life is and what really matters here on earth. It makes us so grateful for all the blessings in our lives and the many miracles that happen.
