HAPPY EASTER (yesterday)

Happy Easter from the Christensen Boys! Jace in his new hat

We had a nice Easter. The boys were excited about their Easter Baskets, which were hats this year. The older boys had a video game in their basket, and the younger 2 had new movies. They also got plenty of candy! We had a nice dinner at my Dad & Mom's house with Steph, Andrew, & Kallen. Mom did an Easter egg hunt with clues. They had to find their eggs in a treasure hunt. The hunt ended at a picture of Jesus. Mom told them that this was our Easter gift. That Jesus died so that we can all be resurrected and live as families with him again. The boys really enjoyed their hunt and the message of Easter.

After the Easter Party the kids all wanted to play. Neither of us had done our eggs, so we decided to do them together. The kids decorated 2 1/2 dozen eggs in record time. Blake was covered in dye, and all of his eggs were totally cracked or mashed. I had forgotten how fun it is to decorate eggs with little ones! (Ha! Ha! Ha!)

This was the Christensen/Fellows Easter party. They did an Easter egg hunt for the kids, and then we had a lunch. They had all but 2 of the Grandkids there. Tony & Yvonne are so good to all of these kids. I know that they put a lot of time, effort, and money into all of the holidays for all of us. Thank you to them!

Wax Museum

Austin had his wax museum a couple of weeks ago. The parents were able to come and walk through. Only the 3rd grade does this, it counts as one of their book reports. They have to pick someone that is well known. Research them, write a report on them, speak in front of the class as if you are that person telling about themselves, and then the museum. They had to hold their pose for 20 minutes without moving, then they would get a break, then pick another pose for 20 minutes. This went off and on for the parents and the rest of the school. Austin chose to be John Stockton. Ryan helped him with his report and presentation. I made his uniform, with some help from my Mom of course. It was fun to go and work on it with my Mom, I only had Jace with me, so we were able to visit a bit. Austin did AWESOME at the museum. It was one of the cutest things I have ever seen a school do.
