Fish Lake 2010

These are the fish that the 4 boys caught on Friday morning
Austin with his fish
Logan with his little catch (perch)
Blake trying to entertain himself while the boys were fishing. After his loud talking and throwing rocks into the lake I finally decided to take him and Jace on a walk. It was really fun. We tried to find "Theodore" as Blake put it. It took me a few minutes to figure out what he was saying and what he was talking about. It wasn't until he said "Look there's Simon" that I figured out that was the name of the squirrels we were finding.
Jace throwing rocks into the lake. Great for fishing, I know.
Another rock thrown into the lake, I think he could have done it all day.
I love this face!
Blake loves to be outdoors.
I loved this picture that I took of Ryan's fishing pole. It look so quiet and calm, too bad you can't see what is going on behind the camera. He is trying to keep 3 boys fishing lines baited, not tangled together, and keep them all happy.
Logan patiently waiting his catch. He looks deep in thought. I always wonder what they are thinking about during these quiet moments.
Austin didn't have as much patience this day, but did end up catching a perch finally.
We played games back at camp. One of our favorites was Blokus. I picked it up at Target on our way out of town. The boys caught on really quick and did quite well.
I loved this little pose. He is always full of smiles.
I wish I had taken more pictures of this. He would sit on the back of his truck and ride down the long hill and cross over the puddle. Needless to say he fell in the puddle many times too. It kind of made me nervous how much speed he would pick up coming down.
We went to Fish Lake with some friends during the 24th of July week. We played games, the boys and men fished, and we even got in a game of baseball. Our friends had told us to pack our baseball gear. When I got to camp I wondered where in the heck we were going to play baseball (we were on a mountain side). On Thursday afternoon they asked if we wanted to play a game of baseball and we said sure. So we all hopped in our vehicles and drove until we found a somewhat even field to play in. It was so much fun (even though I can hardly hit a ball). The older boys loved it and Blake and Jace loved wandering around the field. We had a great week and enjoyed hanging out with some of the nicest people ever.

Girls Trip to St George

A few weeks ago we went down to St George to stay at Tamara's Mom's house. It was so much fun. We played games, swam, shopped, and even went and got pedicures. It is always so much fun to go down to her house. They make you feel right at home and the house is enormous. You can have so many people there and never feel like you are in someone's space. Thank you so much Tamara for letting us go down there. You are such a sweetie!

Scout Camp 2010

This was a stop on the short hike that we took with the boys
This is our scout troup
Logan chose to shoot a recurve bow instead of a compound bow
This was a game of teamwork. They had to keep the ball moving without it falling off.
This is Logan climbing over the A frame in the obstacle course
Mid July both of my boys went to day camp. I went up with Logan's group the first day. It was fun to see all of these boys hang out together and goof off. It also made me laugh listening to all of the stupid corny jokes the staff tells, and it just makes the boys laugh so hard. I have decided that boys are so much different than girls. I only grew up with sisters so this has been an eye opening experience. I did have a good time with these boys.

Bear Lake 2010

Our Family on the beach (we had dinner down on the beach during the sunset, it was so pretty)
This was our group
Ashley and Blake playing cards, don't they look mischievious
Blake and Carson tried to balance these toys on their heads for such a long time. They would just look at each other and laugh every time it fell off.
The boys jumping the waves that Derek was making with the waverunner
Jace and I floating in the tube. I was trying to get him to fall asleep, which eventually worked.
Jace was smiling this whole trip, he loved it!
On Saturday the boys played board games off and on all day long.
This truck has seen many camping trips. The kids love to push it through the sand and water.
Jace sleeping in the raft.
The boys building sand castles
Blake building his own sand castle
Hayden, Colton, and Logan out on the raft
Our skinny little Austin (look at those abs)

I fell in love with this picture of Jace. He looks absolutely adorable all beached out. We had so much fun at Bear Lake this year. The kids got along amazingly good. We had good food and good weather. It was a really fun trip. It always amazes me at how long we look forward to these trips and how fast the time flies while we are there.
