Memorial Day at the Property

I wasn't quick enough getting the camera, but Jace had been lying on his back making sand angels. This is when he stood back up and was putting his hat on.
The boys love to catch horny toads here, this is one they caught for Blake. He definitely gave it lots of love.

How white trash are we. We brought our dart board up and Ryan rigged up a couple of pallets and attatched the board to it. The guys had a lot of fun playing darts, so did the little boys.

We went fishing at Red Creek not too far from the property. I really didn't think we would catch anything, but everybody did. The kids had a lot of fun reeling in the fish.

This was the first catch of the day. Derek really caught a big one, he actually caught it by the tail. He considers it a once in a lifetime catch!

Jace ended up tripping and getting all wet at the edge, so I had to strip him down from the waist down, so I let him hang out in the truck with Blake who had just woken up from a nap. They munched on jerky while watching the kids out the window.

Over Memorial Weekend we went up to Tony & Yvonne's property, which is in between Strawberry Reservoir and Duchesne. The kids had a blast catching horny toads and lizards, shooting BB guns, hiking around the trail, and riding the 4-wheelers. Austin actually drove my 4-wheeler much of the weekend taking his brothers for rides. I can't believe he is actually big enough to drive that machine. The girls hung out with the little ones and chatted, while the big boys played horse shoes, darts, and shot clay pigeons. We were worried about the weather a little, but other than some wind on Saturday it turned out to be a decent weekend.
