This is the cake that I decided to make for him for his birthday. We call Jace our "little monkey" so I thought that it would be cute to have a monkey cake
He started with just a little taste, but when we put him in his high chair he had at it!
He loved his cake, he ate the entire piece we gave him, then Ryan fed him some ice cream, he downed that also!I can't believe that my baby is 1! It feels like just a few months ago that we were heading to the hospital. 2 birthdays in 2 days was definitely not in our plan, but he had a different plan for us. Although he hasn't been the easiest baby, such as...not sleeping through the night (until just this week), a Mommy's boy (which makes it so hard to get anything done), and ear infections every other month, if not every month, we still have thoroughly enjoyed having him be a part of our family. His brothers love to play with him, make him laugh, and watch him do new things. He really brings a smile to all of our faces when he is around. His smile is contagious, it is simply adorable. Happy 1rst Birthday Jace!

How fun Jill!!! You did such an awesome job on the cakes! I guess that what happens though when you're "SUPER-MOM"!! Can;t wait to see you and catch up :)
